Identifying Links to PDF Documents

WAC Tutorial. January 2005. Written and Presented by: Lori Bailey.

Shows good and bad examples of how links to PDF files are identified. For each example, uses screen shots from JAWS screen reader to show how the links appear in the JAWS "Links List" view.

Select Your Format:

  1. PowerPoint Presentation (with audio).
  2. Graphic HTML version.
  3. Text-only HTML version.
  4. PDF version (printer-friendly).

PDF version requires Adobe Reader or other PDF viewer. PowerPoint and Word version requires Microsoft Office 2003+ or the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer or Microsoft Word Viewer.
