A History: Disability at Ohio State
A history of disability at OSU, covering many of the key people, programs, offices, organizations, and events. A collaborative effort by Karla Kmetz and Brenda Brueggemann, sponsored by TELR and the Digital Union, as a project for the research on research program.
Fast Facts for Faculty
Documents in multiple formats provide overviews of the essential accessibility issues faculty need to be aware of before posting course materials to the web. The Fast Facts for Faculty publications are information briefs designed to help college and university instructors improve the climate and quality of education for students with disabilities.
FAME (Faculty and Administrator Modules in Higher Education)
Users can browse or work sequentially through units covering web accessibility, universal design in learning environments, faculty and teaching staff rights and responsibilities to students with disabilities, and overcoming literacy challenges. Learning modules are geared toward teachers and administrators. Multi-modal presentation throughout—HTML, video with audio and transcript.
Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Every web developer at OSU should be familiar with the OSU Web Policy and Guidelines from the Office of the CIO. The policies cover the role of the web at OSU, standards for use, and guidelines for organizing and naming your site.
Ohio State Policy and Resources for Web Developers
Information about using the OSU templates, designing and managing your site structure, and other policies related to OSU web development. Also find here OSU logos and graphics, including the approved OSU toolbar, with instructions for downloading and inserting in your pages.
