Extras: Breadcrumb Navigation Trails and "More" Links
The breadcrumb navigation above uses CSS to insert arrows for sighted users. Screen reader users will hear the links read off in a way that explains the hierarchy of pages that led them there. This technique can help orient the user within the web site.
A similar technique is used in the "more" links in the sidebars on this page. Again, we address the screen-reader user (and search-engine spider) by writing good link text. We hide most of the link text from sighted users, who will orient themselves visually and for whom the simple "more" link will be adequate.
