WAC Site Evaluation RequestThe OSU Web Accessibility Center (WAC) analyzes web pages for their accessibility to people with disabilities. The WAC offers this as a free service to OSU faculty and staff* in order to further its mission to expand opportunities for people with disabilities through the innovative uses of computer technology. The WAC's goal is to ensure that all distance education, online courses, and informational web sites at OSU are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. To request a site review, send email to wac@osu.edu. Include your name, position, unit or department affiliation, and the URL for the site to review. If there are any parts of the site you want excluded from review, please indicate that as well. Note: WAC reviews are completed on a first come, first serve basis. Typically you will receive your site-review within 1-2 weeks. If you do not hear from us within 10 business days, please contact us for an updated schedule. * To receive a free WAC site review, your site must be hosted on an approved OSU server (osu.edu or ohio-state.edu). At this point we are unable to offer this service to non-OSU individuals, programs, or companies. ITTATC maintained a list of companies, individuals, and organizations that offer fee-based evaluation and consultation services: ITTATC list of consultants. The grant that funded ITTAC has run out, as of May 2006, and some of their listings may be out of date.
