Holland codes
These are the codes of
the six vocational groups identified by John Holland. The codes are laid out in
a hexagon with vocations most like each other adjacent to each other and those
less like each other opposite on the hexagon. Thus, the order of the vocations
is important. Of course you can start anywhere on the hexagon and go in either
direction, but the codes are typically arranged in the following order R A I S E
C. R stands for Realistic, A for Artistic, I for Investigative, S for Social, E
for Enterprising, and C for Conventional.
