MWAS 6 – Image Maps

  • Client-side Image Maps:

    • Store map information with the HTML document

    • Do not require server processing to determine the map destination

  • Use separate ALT tag for each map location.

Client-side image maps shall be provided instead of server-side image maps except where the regions cannot be defined with an available geometric shape. .
